TradingCardQuant

A private research tool for pricing collectible trading cards.

What it is

TradingCardQuant collects published price information for individual Pokémon trading cards — sold and asking prices, graded-slab population counts and card catalogue data — and builds a valuation for each card from it. It is used by one person to decide what a single card is worth before buying or selling it.

Who runs it

TradingCardQuant. It is not a company, not a service, and has no users other than its operator.

How it uses the eBay APIs

Read-only
It calls the eBay Browse API to read publicly listed items. It never creates, edits or ends a listing, never places a bid or an order, and holds no eBay user's authorisation.
Per card, not per category
Every number it derives is for one specific card — for example the typical sale price of one graded card. It does not compute average selling price or gross merchandise value for any eBay category, and publishes nothing at the category level.
Private
The analysis itself is not on the public internet. It runs on a private server, is reachable only over a private network by its operator, and the interface is read-only — there is nothing here to sign in to and no card data on this site.

eBay Marketplace Account Deletion

This application is subscribed to eBay Marketplace Account Deletion / Closure notifications. The notification endpoint is /ebay/marketplace-account-deletion on this host. When a notification arrives, every stored field identifying that eBay user is cleared, and the fact that the notification was received and acted on is recorded without retaining the user's identity.
